Traffic Calming Committee

Current members of the committee are: Amy Deex, Paul Dressel, Katy Phillips, Lisa Sargent, and Valerie Willis.

This committee has a number of things to do over the coming weeks:

• Investigate and propose traffic calming ideas (chicanes, speed humps, choke points, textured pavement, islands, stop signs, etc.) to the larger group. Determine pros, cons, etc.
• Look into regulations concerning which types of traffic calming devices work with various and turn radii, hill gradients, etc.
• Advise the city of concerns with Coal Creek construction, the lack of the center-lane for left turns, etc.
• etc.
